Abstract painter - Lina Navickaite

"Interior art connects, calms and inspires – but for me, it also quietly rebels."

Lina NavickaitÄ— is a contemporary artist specialising in paintings for interiors. Originally from Lithuania, she has called London her home and studio for over 14 years. Her work is a bold fusion of traditional and modern techniques — grounded in her deep love for light, texture, and colour — and known for transforming spaces into soulful, story-filled environments.
With a background in interior architecture and a lifetime immersed in art schools and mentorships with renowned painters, Lina has cultivated a unique sensitivity to the emotional impact of art in space. She sees art not just as decoration, but as a dialogue between person and place.
But beneath the surface of every piece lies something deeper:
a personal journey of unlearning perfection.
Having lived much of her life as a perfectionist — drawn to clean edges, sharp lines, neat conclusions — Lina found herself constrained by her own desire for control. Her OCD lived in those flawless spaces. And her art became the place where she could finally let go.
Through painting, she began to fight back.
To embrace what was raw, crooked, cracked, stained.
To see beauty not in the polished, but in the real.
Drawing on the Japanese philosophy of Wabi Sabi, her abstract compositions celebrate imperfection — with textures that feel aged, earthy, architectural. Softly weathered. Deeply alive. Her work invites viewers to slow down, exhale, and find serenity not in symmetry, but in the honesty of materials and moments.
Her minimalist, conceptual abstractions are created with intentional layering, natural aging techniques, and expressive mark-making that speaks directly to today’s interior styles — especially those that crave depth, presence, and calm.
Lina also offers bespoke art services, collaborating with interior designers, architects, and private clients to create works that feel like a true extension of the space. Her paintings don’t just hang on walls — they become part of the architecture. They ground, elevate, and humanise.
If you’re looking for art that reflects who you are — not in perfect lines, but in beautifully imperfect expression — let’s connect.
